CLEVELAND- After dropping two straight matches to top-10 opponents, West Florida (3) and Ouachita Baptist (8), the Statesmen tennis team looked to regain some form last weekend, sweeping Christian Bothers University 9-0 and Alcorn State University 7-0. The wins put the Statesmen at 9-4 on the year. 

The Lady Statesmen have won four of their last five, and are rolling with confidence into the Gulf South Conference Tournament after sweeping Christian Brothers 9-0 over the weekend. 

The men and women travel to Searcy, Arkansas Monday to take on Harding University, it will close out the season for the men. The women will travel to Magnolia, Arkansas and take on Southern Arkansas University before heading to the Gulf South Conference Tournament this weekend.
