CLEVELAND - Recruiting is the lifeblood of any program, on Wednesday coach Ron Roberts and the Delta State University football program added 20 mid-year transfers to the Statesmen roster. Of the 20 signees, 18 hail from Mississippi's Junior and Community Colleges.
"We're very excited about the quality and depth of this year's signing class," Roberts said. "We addressed several position where we had a major need, including offensive and defensive line and several spots in the secondary."
The Statesmen expect to add at least five more signees before the start of the spring semester in January. As signings become available, GoStatesmen.com will have complete coverage.
