With three new swimmers qualifying for nationals and a school record broken, day one of the NSISC Championships was a positive one in the eyes of coach Brian Hein.
"Its a great start for us, we are right where we want to be point wise." Hein said. "Swimming against this level of competition really gets you ready for that nationals competition."
The Lady Statesmen and Statesmen are back in the pool Thursday morning at 10 AM for more preliminaries and Thursday night at 6 PM for the finals of the day. Stay locked on GoStatesmen.com for updates for the NSISC Championships.
