Delta State University

The Delta State University Department of Athletic Communications serves as the public relations wing for the Department of Athletics.

Athletic Communications covers all media aspects for all 13 Delta State University Statesmen and Lady Statesmen intercollegiate sports. AC coordinates interviews, conducts press conferences, produces six media guides, maintains statistics and serves as the webmaster for the official website of DSU Athletics, www.gostatesmen.com.

Athletic Communications also coordinates all game day media services and works with state, regional and national media to promote Statesmen and Lady Statesmen athletics. 

Student-Athlete/Coaches Interview Policy
Media members must adhere to the following guidelines regarding Statesmen coaches/student-athlete interviews: (1) All interviews must be coordinated through the Athletic Communications Office; (2) Coaches/SA are available for interviews, either at the Dorgan Center or via telephone prior to practice (generally 1:30-4:00 p.m.) and following the completion of practice; (3) Please give at least 24 hours notice; (4) No interviews will be allowed prior to the start of any contest on gameday.
