Delta State University Sports Medicine/Athletic Training features some of the finest facilities in the Gulf South Conference and NCAA Division II. After renovations were completed in the summer of 2008, Statesmen and Lady Statesmen student-athletes now have access to one of the most comprehensive and technologically advanced departments in the country.
Boasting a 2500 square foot primary athletic training room at Chadwick-Dickson Fieldhouse, DSU Sports Medicine features a hydrotherapy room, seven new treatment tables, four taping tables, two state-of-the-art whirlpools and a rehabilitation area to make sure the student-athletes here at Delta State receive the best treatment possible.
Under the direction of head athletic trainer Gerald Jordan, Delta State Sports Medicine works tirelessly to make sure our student-athletes receive the highest level of care possible.
The DSU Sports Medicine Office is located on the first floor of the Chadwick-Dickson Athletic Fieldhouse with satellite athletic training rooms at Walter Sillers Coliseum and the Delta State Aquatics Center. All facilities feature state-of-the-art modalities and other equipment necessary to keep the Statesmen and Lady Statesmen at the peak of performance.
