Daniel Stewart enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer on Gerald Jordan's staff. Stewart will serve as the primary athletic trainer for the Statesmen football and baseball programs.
A 2007 graduate of Florida State University, Stewart received his degree from the College of Human Sciences in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. While at FSU, Stewart worked with the Seminole football, track and field, swimming and diving, and basketball teams. During that time, he also served Godby High School's football program as a student assistant trainer.
Stewart graduated from Crestview High School in Crestview, Fla., in 2001. While at CHS, he lettered in football, track and weightlifting.
He is a member of the FSU Athletic Training Association. Stewart is currently pursuing a master's degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
