Jim Ervin is in first year as Assistant to Media Relations. Prior to joining the staff on a full-time basis, Ervin served two years as a Graduate Assistant in the Media Relations office at Delta State University.

Ervin serves as the game day manager for all DSU athletic events and the primary historian for Delta State's football and baseball teams.

Ervin is a 2000 graduate of Delta State University with a Bachelor's degree in Education. After pursuing a career in agricultural aviation, Ervin completed his Master's degree in Sports Administration in 2007.

Ervin graduated from Bayou Academy in 1995 where he played varsity football and baseball. He currently resides in Boyle.
