Ben O’Neil’s roots in diving are from the Madison Wisconsin All-City Summer Diving League. A competitive gymnast in his youth, he dove during the summer time for fun and became an all-city champion 6 times. As a Junior Olympic level gymnast, he became a Regional Champion as well as a National Qualifier.

At Southern Connecticut State University, Ben was a two sport athlete competing in both gymnastics and diving from 2001-06. He is a 3 time All-American diver, placing 7th on three meter board in 2006.

Ben has worked as both an assistant and head coach at Parkcrest Swim Club in Madison, Wisconsin and served as Head Diving Coach at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Connecticut.
