Alan McAfee, a Memphis, Tenn., native, was a part of a Delta State University Golf team that finished in the top five in the Gulf South Conference four years in a row from 1998-2001. McAfee was a four-year member of the Gulf South Conference All-GSC/All-Tournament golf team. In 1998, he was named to the All-GSC First Team after finishing second overall in the conference tournament with a 3-under par 69.
 
McAfee's 2000 season with the Statesmen was one for the record book, as the junior claimed the GSC Tournament title and Individual Medalist Award. He earned All-GSC First Team accolades and was named the Gulf South Conference Golfer of the Year. He held a National Scoring Rating of 89 in a total of 29 rounds and claimed three tournament victories as a junior in 2000.
 
After his college career, McAfee participated in various mini tour events from 2002-2004. He currently holds the position of Financial Advisor at MidSouth Financial Group.
