- One of the best defensive linemen to ever play at DSU
- 1975 and 1976 All-Gulf South Conference First Team selection
- Finished career with 112 tackles and 12 quarterback sacks
- Forced seven fumbles and had five fumble recoveries in his career
- Played in the 1977 Lions American Bowl (All-Star Game)
