Page, a native of Starkville, played three seasons for the Statesmen baseball team and coach Bill Marchant from 1994-1996. Prior to coming to DSU, Page was an All-State and All-Region 23 performer at East Mississippi Community College. A three-time All-GSC selection, Page helped guide the Statesmen to the 1994 and 1996 Gulf South Conference championships and NCAA Division II College World Series appearances.
Page led the Statesmen in batting and RBIs in 1994 (.414/52), 1995 (.396/47) and 1996 (.383/61). He finished his career ranked third all-time in career batting average .395, while ranking third in doubles (59) and 10th in career hits (236).
He was named to the ABCA All-American team in 1996 and he was a three-time ABCA All-South Central Region Team selection. He grabbed the 1995 N.L. Cassibry Most Valuable Player Award at DSU. Also a good student, Page was a three-time GSC Academic Honor Roll recipient as well.
