CLEVELAND - Coach Ron Roberts and the Delta State University football program have signed 21 players to letters of intent since the signing period began.  The 21 future Statesmen join 14 mid-year transfers to make-up the 2009 Statesmen Signing Class.  The two-time defending Gulf South Conference champions signed a nice mix of high school and collegiate talent.

"We're very pleased with our signing class," said Roberts.  "We're still waiting on a few letters of intent, so the class will top soon."
