SENIOR (2013): Finished 35th at the Fleet Feet Invitational (5K) in Huntsville, Ala., with a time of 22:09...Placed 32nd at the Watson Ford Invitational (6K) in Clinton, Miss. with a 27:07 finish.

JUNIOR (2012): Hannah claimed 49th place in the Fleet Feet Sports/Earl Jacoby Memorial Cross Country Invitational (5K) in Huntsville Ala. with a time of 23:02 to contribute to DSU's first place finish (9.8.12)...Finished 151st with a time of 23:40 in the Disney World Collegiate Classic (5K) in Orlando, Fla. to help the Lady Statesmen finish in the top ten overall (10.6.12).

SOPHOMORE (2011): Hannah earned All-GSC First Team after claiming a 10th place finish with a 20:09 at the Veteran’s Park 5k at the 2011 GSC Women’s XC Championship (10.22.11)... Placed sixth with a season best 19:59 in the UAH Fleet Feet/Earl Jacoby Memorial 5k helping the Lady Statesmen team place 2nd overall (9.10.11)…Placed in the top ten with a 24:06.05 to place fourth and closed with the ninth fastest time ever at DSU in the Mississippi College/Watson Ford Invitational 6k (10.7.11)…Finished second for the Statesmen and 17th overall setting a personal best meet with a 23:52 at the 2011 Rhodes College Cross Country 6k Invitational (10.1.11)…Claimed 35th with a 24:25 at the NCAA South Regional (11.5.11)…Broke the top 50 with a 20:04.83 for 49th place and second for the Lady Statesmen in the Brooks’ Twilight Invitational 5k (9.4.11)…Helped DSU place fourth best by a non-NCAA DI program, finished third with 20:27.70 for the Lady Statesmen in the Vanderbilt University Commodore Classic (9.17.11).

FRESHMAN (2010): Hannah had a great freshman season for the Lady Statesmen. She began the year by running the 14th fastest time at the Fleet Feet/UA-Huntsville Invitational  posting a 20:51...She followed that performance up by running the third fastest team time at the Brooks' Twilight Invitational, when she completed the course in 20:15...Hannah then ran the 19th fastest 6k in Delta State history by turning in a 24:55 at the Rhodes College Invitational...After running a 21:09.30 at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival, she ran a 20:39.72 at the Southeast Collegiate Classic. She placed 39th with a 21:09.65 at the Gulf South Conference championships helping the team place 5th. She ran a 25:00.5 at the NCAA South regional meet, which helped the team place sixth...Was named an Academic All-American by the Untied Statesmen Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

ARLINGTON HIGH: Three-sport star at Arlington High in Arlington, Tenn...Lettered in cross country, soccer and track...Ran for coach Scott McKee at AHS...2009 All-Region runner...Recorded a third place finish at the 2009 DSU High School Invitational and ran a season's best 20:28 at the Shelby County Jamboree in Memphis, Tenn....Finished in 8th place at the Tennessee High School Regionals...Earned varsity letters in track and field, soccer and cross country during her career at AHS...Named Team Captain. 

PERSONAL: Hannah Grace Whitaker...Born November 9, 1991...Daughter of Brad and Alyson Whitaker...Has three siblings, Whit, Benjamin and Elizabeth...Major is Dietetics and Nutrition...Also likes competing in Ultimate Frisbee.
