CLEVELAND – Delta State University Athletics and DSU Alumni Association are geared up for an event filled Spring Sports Weekend this Thursday through Sunday, April 22-25 on campus. The 16th annual Spring Sports Weekend promises something for everyone, including the annual Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet, coach Dave “Boo” Ferriss' 50th anniversary recognition, Bolivar County Alumni Association's Jambalaya Jam, Wyatt Golf Tournament and a key three-game series with No. 1 Southern Arkansas at Ferriss Field.
“We've always wanted Spring Sports Weekend to serve as a homecoming of sorts for the spring semester and this year's event is slammed with opportunities for our alumni, fans and visitors,” director of athletics Jeremy McClain stated. “We hope to see you this weekend!”
