Delta State's Cecile Benzaki and Paula Uchida were named to the West Division All-Decade First Team, while Jeanne van der Merwe was named to the Second Team and Adri van der Merwe received Honorable Mention honors.  The quartet accounted for 13 All-GSC recognitions and four GSC West Division Player of the Year Awards.

West Florida's Suzana Cavalcante is the GSC East Division Player of the Decade. Cavalcante completed her four-year career in 2009 after being named the GSC Player of the Year three straight seasons (2006-08) and making the All-GSC First Team four times. She captured the 2009 ITA Senior Player of the Year accolade and earned the ITA South Region Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship Award in 2008. Cavalcante was a four-time singles All-American and a three-time doubles All-American.

Current West Florida Head Coach Derrick Racine is the GSC East Division Coach of the Decade. Racine completed his 12th season directing the UWF program, compiling a 261-90 overall record. Since 2001, Racine has guided the Argonauts to five GSC Titles, five trips to the NCAA Semi-Finals and one NCAA Finals appearance (2001). He has claimed five ITA South Region Coach of the Year awards and was tabbed National Coach of the Year in 2002.

Ouachita Baptist's Brenda Magnetti was tabbed the GSC West Division Player of the Decade. Magnetti was a difference maker for the Lady Tigers at No. 1 Singles and No. 1 Doubles from 2001-04, earning All-GSC First Team laurels four times, while leading OBU to GSC Titles in 2003 and 2004. She was a three-time doubles All-American and a singles All-American in 2002. Magnetti teamed up with two different partners to win the National Small College Doubles Championship in 2002 and 2003.

Current Ouachita Baptist Head Coach Betsy Danner earned the GSC West Division Coach of the Decade laurel. Danner has led the Lady Tigers since 1993, steering the program to new heights the past 10 seasons. She is a two-time GSC Coach of the Year thanks to GSC Titles in 2003 and 2004. The 2003 crown marked the first-ever GSC Title in any sport for Ouachita Baptist. Danner led OBU to four straight NCAA post-seasons (2001-04) and she was voted the 2003 ITA National Coach of the Year thanks to the team's 21-0 regular season record.

West Florida is the decade's top Women's Tennis program, tallying 140 out of a possible 145 All-Sports Trophy points for a 97% mark the past 10 seasons. The Argonauts won five GSC Titles, including back-to-back crowns from 2001-2002 and from 2006-2007. UWF captured six straight East Division Titles from 2001-06 and was a part of the NCAA post-season all 10 seasons.
