Lady Statesmen soccer player #Laura Swanson# was named the GoStatesmen.com Lady Statesmen of the Week for the week ending September 1, 2008. The senior midfielder from Oshkosh, Wisconsin racked up five shots on the day, two on target in the 0-1 double overtime loss to LeTourneau over the weekend. 

Swanson and the Lady Statesmen will travel to Springfield, Ill to take on a weekend series against Robert Morris- Springfield and Robert Morris-Lake County September 5 and 7. Kick-off is set for 5p.m. and 12 noon.
