Junior pitcher Brittany Gonzales showed out this weekend posting a 1.17 ERA, recorded six total strikeouts and held opposing batters to a .220 average through two games pitched. Gonzales picked up her seventh win of the season by pitching five complete innings, allowing only three hits with no earned runs while striking out two batters in the 8-2 win over West Georgia. The junior right hander faced off against the No. 1 Valdosta State Lady Blazers the following day by pitching a complete game and only allowed eight hits with two earned runs while recording four strikeouts in a 7-3 loss.
