Justin McArthur, a sophomore running back for the Delta State football team, has been named the GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 27.  It's McArthur's first honor of the season.  

The Hoover, Ala., native ran for 86 yards and touchdown last Thursday to lift the Statesmen to a 38-17 victory Shorter University in the GSC-TV Live Game of the Week.  

The 5-foot-8, 190-pound sophomore battled an early season injury, but has rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns on just 22 carries thus far.
