Matthew Swaine, a diver on the Delta State University Men's Swimming & Diving team, captures this week's GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Statesmen to a dominating win over Ouachita Baptist University in a dual meet last Saturday.  

The victory centered around the school record performance of Matthew Swaine.  For the second time this season, the sophomore from Loveland, Ohio has bested the mark in the 1 Meter Diving (323.05) competition.  Swaine would also find victory in the 3 Meter (252.15).

Swaine will lead the Statesmen back into action this Friday, Jan. 17 versus Henderson State.  The meet is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and DSU will be recognizing Senior Day.
