Senior guard Devin Schmidt captures the GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor after leading the Statesmen basketball team to two victories on the road at Valdosta State and West Florida.

Schmidt tied a career high in points with 24 in the win versus Valdosta. He went 11 of 17 from the field and pulled down seven rebounds. He added 20 more points against West Florida in the 71-57 win.
