Sophomore native of Monticello, Ark., Chelsey Rhodes had stellar performances in this week's Gulf South Conference action. Rhodes led all scorers in Delta State's games against Valdosta and West Florida. In the 65-61 win over the Lady Blazers, Rhodes wen 10-of-19 from the field including 3-of-9 from behind the arc to record 25 points. Rhodes led the Lady Statesmen with 23 points in their 58-65 loss to West Florida. Rhodes went 7-of-9 from the field and 4-of-5 from downtown on the afternoon, including a perfect 5-of-5 from the field at the half with 4 three-pointers.
