Ben Pickard posted five multi-RBI games this week while helping the Statesmen to a 4-1 week, including going 3-for-4 with one double, one home run and five RBI in DSU's series clinching win over Mississippi College.  His home run against Mississippi College was a grand slam that gave the Statesmen a 7-4 lead in the second inning. The grand slam was Pickard's second consecutive game three grand slam, belting a grand slam in a series clinching win at Lee a week ago. Pickard also slugged .636 and did not make an error in 15 fielding chances.
