Jerad Hunt, a redshirt sophomore linebacker on the Delta State football team, captures his first-career CableONE GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week award after leading the Statesmen to a 37-29 come-from-behind victory in the 36th annual Heritage Bell Classic at Mississippi College.

After working his way into the starting rotation at middle linebacker, the Cleveland, Mississippi, native recorded 3.0 tackles-for-loss for minus-16 yards, including 2.0 sacks, in DSU's decisive second-half comeback. He finished the night with 4.5 tackles, 3.0 TFLs and 2.0 sacks.
