Anastasia Klyarovskaya, a junior on the Delta State Swimming & Diving team, claimed her second consecutive and fourth of the season CableONE GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor after leading the Lady Statesmen to dual meet victories over the University of West Florida and Henderson State University this past Friday, Jan. 15 at the DSU Aquatics Center.
Klyarovskaya, the NSISC Women's Swimmer of the Week, continued her winning ways, as she claimed all four races in which she competed (400-Medley relay, 100-Backstroke (55.35), 200-Backstroke (204.68), 400-Freestyle relay).
The Moscow, Russia native was a catalyst for the Lady Statesmen, who continue to gain ground in the national rankings heading into the final regular season meet this Saturday, Jan. 23 versus West Florida and Emory University in Pensacola, Fla.Â
