Kirsten Stroven, a senior on the Lady Statesmen Cross Country team, has been named the CableOne/GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week after posting a personal record time at the University of the Ozarks Invitational.
Stroven helped the Lady Statesmen put together a 4th place team finish, which is the highest that Delta State has finished this season in team standings.Â
The senior from Brighton, Michigan, who is also a member of the swim team, finished in 19th place overall out of 82 individual finishers. Stroven posted a time of 20 minutes, 52 seconds in setting her personal record by 28 seconds.Â
