Cody Mills, a junior kicker on the Delta State football team, has earned the CableOne GoStatesmen.com Athlete of the Week award.

Mills connected on both of his field goal attempts, and averaged 38.8 yards on five punts in the loss to North Alabama. He is 7-for-8 in field goals this season, with his only miss coming on a blocked kick. Mills leads the Gulf South Conference with a 41.5 yards per punt average.
