Kaelin Kneeland, a senior forward for the Lady Statesmen, has earned CableOne GoStatesmen.com Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this season. 

The Olive Branch, Miss., native led the Lady Statesmen in splitting a pair of games against Union and Christian Brothers this past weekend.

Kneeland averaged 11.5 points, 10 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 1.0 block while averaging 29 minutes per game against the Lady Bulldogs and the Lady Bucs. 

The Lady Statesmen begin a four game homestand as they host West Georgia on Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. Then, Delta State and the West Alabama Tigers will square off on Jan. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Walter Sillers Coliseum.
