Cedric Harper, a junior forward for the Statesmen, has earned CableOne GoStatesmen.com Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this season.

The Tallahassee, Fla., native had a career-high afternoon grabbing 15 boards against No. 24 Valdosta State. He scored 14 points and went for a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor as well as recording five blocks in the 72-58 win against the Blazers.

The Green-and-White play host to in-state rival Mississippi College on Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
