Kyle Weesner, a freshman on the Statesmen swimming and diving team, has been named CableOne GoStatesmen.com Athlete of the Week.

Weesner earned his first career honor after being named Men's Diver of the Meet at the 2017 NSISC Championships. Weesner claimed the title on the 3-Meter board with a 478.70. He followed that effort two days later by winning on the 1-Meter board with a 460.85.
