This week’s CableOne GoStatesmen.com Female Athlete of the Week is Takisha Jordan of the Lady Statesmen swim team. 

Jordan averaged 15.5 points and six rebounds in DSU's road setbacks at Valdosta State and West Florida. Over her last five games, the Decatur, Ala., native has averaged 16 points and five rebounds.

The Lady Statesmen return to action on Saturday, Jan. 13 when they face Montevallo at Walter Sillers Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
