Dalton Minton tossed his second complete game this season with a two-hit shutout of Christian Brothers on Friday, March 30. Minton limited CBU to four base runners during the seven-inning outing. After a leadoff CBU single in the second, The Horn Lake, Miss., native retired 10 straight and 17 of the last 19 batters and gave up just one hit to close the game. The Statesmen finished the week 4-0 with a 26-4 win over No. 24 Southern Arkansas earlier in the week along with a three-game sweep of CBU.
