Jordan Jones, a junior on the Lady Statesmen softball team, has been named CableOne/GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week after helping lead DSU earn a series victory over Lee last weekend.

Jones finished the weekend going 7-for-9 with two doubles and three RBIs. In Sunday's doubleheader she finished a combined 5-for-5, including 4-for-4 in game two. Her final hit, in game two, drove in the game-tying run with two strikes and two outs. Jones also had a 1.000 slugging percentage, a .727 on base percentage and was 4-for-4 in stolen bases.
