Amanda Hilliard, a 5-foot-9 freshman on the Lady Statesmen Soccer team, earns her first GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week Award after helping Delta State to 1-1 draw in double overtime at Florida Southern College on Sunday, Sept. 9 in Lakeland, Fla.

The Baton Rouge, La., native played all 110:00 minutes in goal for the Lady Statesmen, recording nine saves. She faced 10 total shots on goal in her first collegiate start for the Lady Statesmen.
