Anoucke Baas, of the Lady Statesmen soccer team, has been named GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week, after helping Delta State to a 1-0 overtime win over Alabama Huntsville on Friday, Sept. 14.

Baas scored the game-winner in overtime, helping the Lady Statesmen earn a victory in their Gulf South Conference opener for the first time since 2008.
