Sarah Mumme, a senior on the Delta State University cross country team, was named the CableOne Female Student-Athlete of the Week on Monday, Oct. 1, after leading the Lady Statesmen to a 13th place finish at the Jacksonville State University Lady Gamecocks Foothills (5K) on Saturday, Sept. 29. 

Mumme recorded a personal best time of 19:24.5 and the ninth fastest 5K time in school history in the effort. She finished 14th overall against competition from all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA.
