Delta State University Lady Statesmen basketball players Camryn Davis was named a Guaranty Bank Featured Athlete of the Week after averaging 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in a weekend sweep of Christian Brothers. 

Davis, a Monticello, Miss. native, tallied 16 points and five rebounds in 22 minutes on Friday night in a 89-69 win. Davis was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and went 4-for-5 from the free throw line. 

The Copiah-Lincoln Community College transfer then went 3-for-3 from the field in 25 minutes on Saturday, as she tallied 15 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal. 

The Lady Statesmen return to action on Friday, Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 30 at 2:30 p.m. as they host the University of Alabama in Huntsville at Walter Sillers Coliseum.
