Justin Ingvoldstad, a senior All-American swimmer on the Statesmen Swimming & Diving team, has been named the GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Monday, Nov. 16. The Oviedo, Fla., native led the Statesmen to their third-straight dual meet victory over Rhodes College this past Saturday, 119-67, at the DSU Aquatics Center.
Ingvoldstad claimed the victory in the 100-Backstroke and leading the Statesmen to the win in 100-Medley Relay with a 1:21.98.
DSU returns to the pool on Saturday, Nov. 21 at Ouachita Baptist University. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
