Julian Massa enters his first year as a graduate assistant coach for the Delta State men's and women's tennis teams.
A native of Mar del Plata, Argentina, Massa graduated from Delta State with a Bachelor's degree in business management, where he also lettered two years in Statesmen tennis. During his senior year last season, Massa helped guide the Statesmen to their 10th appearance in the Gulf South Conference Tennis Tournament in program history and finished fifth on the team in most singles wins.
Prior to transfering to Delta State for the 2016 season, Massa attended and played tennis at Huntington University. He played at the No. 2 position in singles and No. 1 position in doubles.
Currently, Massa is studying for his MBA at Delta State while assisting with the men's and women's tennis teams.
