ARKADELPHIA, ARK.-OUACHITA BAPTIST used a second half hat trick from Jessica Allen, as Ouachita Baptist easily handled Delta State 5-0 on Sunday.

Ouachita Baptist (6-6-1) struck quickly, as Taylor Gay found the back of the net in the 7th minute for the Lady Tigers. 

Mary Whisenhunt added to the scoreline with a 13th minute goal with a free kick to give OBU the 2-0 lead at the half. 

Allen scored all three of her goals in the second half, including a pair just over one minute apart. 

The Lady Statesmen (3-9-1) managed just one shot on goal in the contest, while OBU peppered DSU keeper Megan Galloway with eight shots on goal. 

Galloway made three saves in the contest. 

The Lady Statesmen will return to Delta Field on Wednesday, Oct. 13, as they host Lyon College.   \
