CLEVELAND-The Delta State University Statesmen baseball team rallied late to defeat Abilene Christian 8-5 Tuesday at Ferriss Field.

DSU trailed 5-1 during the early stages of the game.

The two teams will complete the series on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Ferriss Field.

The game will be broadcast on the Statesmen Sports Network.
