The No. 13 Statesmen are on an eight game winning streak, having taken a non-conference sweep of Ouachita Baptist on Tuesday and Wednesday. Delta State has moved up in the polls after sweeping previously ranked Alabama in Huntsville in a three game home series over the weekend.

Michael Manley has been heating up as the season has gotten more intense. The Raymond, Miss. native has been named GSC Pitcher of the Week and NCBWA South Region Pitcher of the week for a complete game shutout versus Alabama in Huntsville, 5-0. Manley (5-0) has picked up victories in five consecutive starts while lowering his season ERA to 0.77. In the victory over UAH, Manley threw his second complete game this season, moving his career record to 14-0.
