The No. 7 Statesmen have a three-game winning streak heading into this weekend versus No. 4 Argos. Delta State took 2-of-3 at Shorter over the weekend and swept a mid-week doubleheader at Henderson State on Tuesday.
With a team batting average of .330 - 20 points head of the next closest team in the conference, Delta State features five of the top-10 batting averages in the Gulf South Conference in the starting lineup.
