GAME NOTES: No. 25 Delta State (5-3, 1-3 GSC) at No. 14 North Alabama (5-2, 3-1 GSC)
CLEVELAND, Mississippi - A heated matchup is set to take place at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence, Alabama this weekend as the No. 25 Statesmen (5-3, 1-3 GSC) of Delta State University travel to take on the No. 14 Lions (5-2, 3-1 GSC) of the University of North Alabama. It's the 59th meeting all-time between the two squads and kickoff set for 1:30 p.m.

INSIDE THE SERIES: Saturday's matchup consists of a long-standing rivalry dating back to 1960. Although UNA holds the overall series record 31-26-1 and 17-10 at home, the Statesmen have won four out of the last five contests and the last two games at Braley Stadium.
GROWING UP IN FRONT OF US: True freshman quarterback
Tyler Cameron has improved since his first start against Shorter on Oct. 10. After passing for a combined 393 yards in his previous two starts, the signal caller threw for a record-setting 491 yards as a freshman QB. The Foley, Ala., native went 34-for-55 with one pick and threw for five scores against West Alabama on Oct. 24.
TRIO GOES THE DISTANCE: Three players recorded 100-plus yard games in Delta State's home setback against West Alabama.
Collin Floyd led the pack with 148 yards, while
Jarvis York added 128 and
Justin Leavy chipped in 115. The trio combined for 391 of the 614 total yards of offense and four scores.
FORCING TURNOVERS: Delta State's defense has been outstanding this season at forcing opponents into miscues and turnovers. Through seven games, the Statesmen have forced 22 turnovers - 14 interceptions and eight fumble recoveries. West Georgia is second in the league with 8 picks, while West Alabama has 7.
GENERAL YORK: While Sgt. York may have had a distinguished military record, the Statesman offense has turned to their field general,
Jarvis York, for leadership this season. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native leads the GSC in receiving yards per game (82.1) and receptions per game (5.6). In eight games, York has 45 grabs for 657 yards and three touchdowns.
RAMBO'S WAY: Senior defensive end Randall "Rambo" Boyd has wreaked havoc on opposing teams this season, ranking third in the GSC with 12.0 tackles-for-loss and fifth in sacks (4.0). In his two-year career, the Forest, Mississippi, native and All-GSC pick has amassed 25.5 tackles-for-loss and 10.5 sacks.
