Live StatsCLEVELAND, Miss. – Delta State University women's soccer (3-12-1, 0-11-0 GSC) closes out the 2015 season against Gulf South Conference co-leader North Alabama (12-2-1, 8-2 GSC) on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex in Florence, Alabama.
ABOUT DELTA STATE:- The Lady Statesmen are 3-12-1 overall and 0-11-0 in GSC play.
- Delta State's comeback from a 3-1 deficit came up short in a 3-2 loss at Spring Hill College last Sunday.
- Tais Cotta, Camilla Sevilla, and Taylor Guess lead the Lady Statesmen with three goals, while Cotta has a team-high three assists.
- Cotta enters her final game as a Lady Statesmen with nine career goals, one shy of tying for fifth on the all-time list with Bridget Duke (2006-07) and Kortney Harris (2006-07).
- The Lady Statesmen have utilized three goalkeepers throughout the season. Taylor Taffo has started 11 matches and has 55 saves and Ravin Hosley has played in four games with three starts and has 20 saves. Freshman Emily Oldacre started the last match against Spring Hill College and has 13 saves in four matches.
ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF NORTH ALABAMA: - North Alabama is 12-2-1 overall and co-lead the GSC with an 8-2-0 record,
- The Lions, who are ranked No. 2 in the last South Region poll, will host Mississippi College on Friday before hosting the Lady Statesmen.
- North Alabama has outscored their opponents 43-14 this season.
- Senior Chloe Richards leads the GSC with 26 goals and two assists followed by Kylie Huey with six goals and four assists
- Eleanor Costello has registered a team-high six assists.
- Goalkeeper Shelby Thornton has started all 15 games and has a 0.94 goals against average with 64 saves.
INSIDE THE SERIES: - North Alabama has won the last nine meetings to lead the all-time series 11-1. The Lady Statesmen lone win in the series was a 1-0 win in 2006 at Delta Field.
