Live Stats at Mississippi Valley State | LSU-Alexandria CLEVELAND, Miss. – A full weekend slate for the Delta State University women's soccer team starts with a short road trip to Mississippi Valley State University (1-4) on Friday at 7 p.m. and closes against NAIA LSU-Alexandria (0-4) on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Delta Field. The Lady Statesmen are bidding to start a season 2-1 for the first time since the 2008 season under Head Coach Jim Allen. DSU lost to LaTourneau University (L, 1-0) before beating Robert Morris-Springfield (W, 5-0) and Robert Morris-Lake County (W, 10-0) to start the year.
ABOUT DSU:- The Lady Statesmen are 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the GSC after a 4-1 loss to Mississippi College on Tuesday.
- Midfielders Bailey Saebi and Taylor Guess lead the team with one goal apiece.
- Rebecca Deegan has assisted on both Lady Statesmen goals.
- Goalkeeper Taylor Taffo started both games and has registered 19 saves.
ABOUT MVSU: - The Delta Devillettes are 1-4 overall following a 4-0 loss at Arkansas State on Sunday.

ABOUT LSU-ALEXANDRIA: - The Generals are 0-4 falling to Bethel University, 1-0, on Monday.
- LSU-A will play Texas Southern on Friday, Sept. 11 prior to its trip to the Delta.
- The Generals are led by Laura Correa-Ovalle with one goal and Nea Sunila with an assist.
