CLEVELAND, Mississippi – The Delta State University men's swimming and diving team won first place in every event to clinch the meet against Rhodes College on Sept. 18, 2015. The Statesmen earned 197 total points, while Rhodes College earned just 34 points.

How it happened:- The Statesmen earned a 1-2-3 finish in the 1000-Freestyle, 200-Freestyle, 50-Freestyle, 100-Butterfly, 100-Freestyle, 500-Freestyle, and 1-meter diving events.
- Matt Swaine's score of 316.28 in the men's 3-meter diving competition qualified him for the NCAA pre-qualifying meet at the NCAA championship. Swaine won both the 3-meter and 1-meter events.
- Matteo Fraschi won first place in both the 200-Freestyle and 100-Breastroke.
- Nick Zorn took first place in the 500-Frestyle with a time of 4:50.81.
- Cody Lavoie won first place in both the 100-Individual Medley and 100-Backstroke.
A Look Ahead: The Statesmen will travel to Rolla, Mo., for the Missouri S&T meet on Oct. 23 at 5:00 p.m.
