HOW IT HAPPENED- Susana Abundiz, Kyla Marshall, Katie Mitchell and Cari Powell scored first half goals to give West Georgia a 4-0 halftime lead.
- Delta State trimmed the lead to 4-1 in the 61st minute with a goal from Tais Cotta (1) off a cross from Kailey Bryan.
- Parker Heissenbuttel and Kara Barber tallied goals in the 82nd and 84th minutes to finish off the scoring.
- Cortney Emmert and Kyla Wright-Marshall had two assists for the Wolves.
- West Georgia held a 16-12 edge in total shots and 12-9 advantage in shots on goal.
- Bryan lead DSU with three shots on goal while Taylor Guess shot three times, two on goal.
- DSU goalkeeper Ravin Hosley recorded four saves, stopping one penalty kick in the second half.
