HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Senior Tabitha Hayden got the offense going, scoring the first goal of the game at the 16th minute mark in the first half to give DSU a 1-0 lead.
- At the 28th minute mark, Katie Swaine scored Delta State's second goal of the match off an assist by Sam Naughton.
- Swaine scored her second goal of the match just before halftime off an assist by Traci Monroe to extend the Lady Statesmen's lead 3-0.
- Taylor Schofield finished the scoring, giving Delta State its fourth goal of the game, off an assist by Swaine.
STAT OF THE GAME:
- Delta State scored three of its four goals in the first half.
