HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MC struck quickly, scoring in the 4th minute as Caitlin Hayes headed in a corner from Hannah Bailey.
- The Lady Choctaws scored on off another corner in the 12th minute when Lexi Ballon knocked home Bailey's pass at the back post.
- MC outshot the Lady Statesmen 9-4 in the first half.
- The Lady Choctaws scored a pair of goals off penalties to finish the game, as Lauren Smith converted in the 51st minute and and Samantha Carson in the 68th.
- DSU goalkeeper Ana Branch finished with four saves.
