CLEVELAND, Miss. –The Delta State University women's soccer team is back on the road for a pair of Gulf South Conference contests, as it is scheduled to face North Alabama on Friday, Oct. 6, before finishing the trip at West Georgia on Sunday, Oct. 8.

INSIDE THE SERIES:
- UNA leads the series 13-1.
- The Lions scored three second half goals to defeat the Lady Statesmen 3-1 last season.

- After finishing 8-8 last season, UNA (8-2, 7-1 GSC) enters the match having claimed eight of its last nine.
- The Lions enter Friday's match coming off a 1-0 setback to Lee on Sunday, Oct. 1.
- UNA ranks third in the league with 21 goals.
- Shelby Wall leads the GSC with 51 shots, while Kylie Huey is tied for third with six goals.
- Starting goalkeeper, Shelby Thornton ranks third in the league with 40 saves.
ABOUT WEST GEORGIA:
- West Georgia will enter its weekend 5-5, including a 4-4 mark in GSC play.
- The Wolves are fresh off a 6-0 win over Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday, Oct. 4,
- UWG has scored 19 goals this season and given up just 11, which is tied for fourth fewest in the league.
- Francessca Ellis and Nicki Conte leads UWG's offense with three goals each.
- Wolves' goalkeeper Jackie Donaldson ranks sixth in the league with a 1.19 goals against average, while her three shutouts are tied for second.
